My name is Irene Maria Chelaru
At four and a half years old, I decided to become an architect, and from that moment on, I let no one question it. I aspire to be a culturally aware and sensitive architect, not limited by one place but attuned to the richness of cultures across time and geography, striving to absorb and reinterpret influences creatively. Now studying at McGill University, I approach each project with dynamism, curiosity, and conviction that thoughtful design can generate meaningful change. Guided by empathy, wonder, and a strong sense of vision, I seek to create spaces that inspire connection and make a positive contribution.
