Best natural teens and kids-friendly face masks and their benefits
Less pollution, less plastic and no chemical adds…

Hi everyone! Who wants to know more about all natural, good, homemade face masks?
Recently I was working on a project with my mom, organizing a Spa Day for two little gorgeous girls that adore being pampered.
We thought that including a face mask would be awesome. The problem when buying such a mask especially from online stores is that you can’t be 100% sure that it’s kids-friendly or natural because there are always hidden ingredients. And, do I have to remind you that producing plastic for recipients increases pollution? We went for a totally natural and fresh composition with chocolate and milk, no preservatives or adding and proud to save the plastic.

The entire spa day was a success and after that experience I searched for more information on the Internet about the benefits of the chocolate face mask. I also discovered other vegetables and fruits health properties and I came up with a few more face masks recipes: avocado, papaya, mango and rice. A homemade face mask effectively nourishes and replenishes our skin, so that it appears glowing, fresh and beautiful.
I invited my friends and my little neighbor over to my place to try some new masks and to validate the results. Our challenge was to be natural, healthy and above all kids-friendly.

Before applying a face mask take this into consideration:

  • !!! If you have sensitive skin and allergies, it will be better to consult the doctor or beauty therapist or simply, ask your mom…
  • !!! Before application cleanse your face properly with clean water. Spread the mixture over the face, but avoid applying the paste around the eyes and mouth region. In the end, rinse the mask with lukewarm water for better results.

Here are the face masks for teen and kids-friendly homemade recipes and their benefits:

Chocolate face mask – my favourite

You need:

  • 3 tablets of chocolates
  • 1 tablespoon of milk
  • mixing bowl
  • cosmetic face brush
  • a clean towel

How to:
Make the mask a bit condensed in order to get the maximum use of it. It is recommended to use dark and pure chocolate, which means sugar-free.
We prepared a mask from chocolate 72% cocoa and milk. We mixed three tablets of chocolate with a spoon of milk and that was all that simple. We used makeup brushes to mix and for spreading on the skin. The warm chocolate on our faces was so calming, the texture was so soft and the smell was so relaxing. Because of the Sun, the chocolate quickly melted but if you wanna try and you are not outside under the Sun then I recommend you to warm it for a few seconds in the microwave before stirring.

Chocolate does not only taste good, but it also has large numbers of benefits for the skin:

  • It is a very good nutrient for the skin. The anti-oxide and C vitamins in chocolate are very useful to hydrate and to regenerate. Highly recommended for those who are having dry and rough skin face condition.
  • Protects your skin face from bacteria and poison from the dirty and polluted environment. (over 100 times more effective than vitamin C and 25 times more effective than vitamin E)
  • Chocolate has tons of anti-oxide at a very high level and pure so that the free radicals in the air will not be absorbed into the skin which is the main cause of aging and wrinkles. Not that we need that so much, but we can recommend it to moms.
  • Acne is probably the most common and often case of skin problem. Chocolate will help you to cure the acne by stimulating the skin cells to be opened and released the bacteria out of the skin.
  • Prevents the skin from the bad effects of sun rays of UVA/UVB.

Scrubbing the dead cells is very important to maintain the beauty and health of the skin every single time. Therefore, scrubbing with a chocolate mask is highly recommended for you to do at least once a week.
