See how I made these cute little plant cups!

Pottery classes! Hmmm…. This sounds very interesting. Mom made me a surprise to celebrate the end of the school year. She brought me in Catherine’s pottery workshop, Studio Laroche.

It was amazing. My first pottery experience with a real pottery wheel. Cause, when I was about 8 years old, I had a tiny plastic wheel for my birthday, and I remember doing these tiny cups and painting them with red and blue.

This time, I worked for real. Catherine was very patient with me and I must tell you that she’s a great teacher. I worked on three clay balls and I kind of smash them all at the end, but for my first pottery class experience, I was very happy with the result. As you can see, the cups at the end, they look fantastic. And that’s what counts! The landscape edges, like Catherine called them, give my cups a modern look. She was even nicer when she took her time to glaze them and to burn them in the oven for me.

Well, I hope you watched my video and opened your taste to ceramic decoration because I know I did.

If you pay her a visit, on 172 rue Saint-Pierre, Rigaud or find her on her social media @studiolaroche, tell her Irene says HI 🙂
